The service
Prept rewrites marked blocks of copy on your page for each visitor. The rewrite is requested by an asynchronous script after your page paints and is applied in the browser moments later. Prept never delays or blocks your page from loading.
Credits and pricing
Every account starts with 2,500 free credits, no card required. Credits are consumed per action:
- New visitor rewrite — 1 credit
- Returning visitor rewrite — 0.25 credits
- Passive identify — 0.1 credits
- Deep-enrichment company profile — 25 credits
Credit packs are one-time purchases: 10,000 for $29, 50,000 for $129, 100,000 for $249. Credits do not expire while the account is active and are non-refundable once spent. Unspent credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
Auto top-up is optional. When enabled, 10,000 credits ($29) are purchased automatically whenever your balance falls below 500. You can switch it off at any time on the billing page.
Billing
Payments are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record, which handles tax, VAT and invoicing. Purchases made in the preview environment are test transactions and grant test credits only.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the copy Prept produces on your site. Do not use the service to make false claims, target protected characteristics, or attempt to identify individual visitors. Company-level context only. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as-is without warranty. If Prept is unavailable or a rewrite fails, the snippet fails open and your original copy is shown. Our aggregate liability is limited to the credits purchased in the preceding 12 months.
